How to add video chapters in Pleymeikel Labs
Add timestamps and chapter titles in Pleymeikel Labs, check each marker and save your changes to make a published video easier for viewers to navigate.

Open Video moments in the editor, add timestamps and titles, then save. Each timestamp must be unique and before the end of the video. A live stream needs a recording before you can review its moments.

Video moments organize a video into chapters with a start time and a title. They help viewers find a section without changing the video file.
Open the editor
For a published video, open Pleymeikel Studio, go to Published videos and choose Options > Edit for the relevant title. Under Video details, find Video moments below the preview.
Add and check markers
- Click Add moment and fill in Time and Moment title.
- Alternatively, move the preview to the desired point and click Use current time. Then enter a title for the marker.
- Use View this moment to check where it starts. Adjust the time or title if necessary.
- Remove an unwanted marker with Delete moment.
Use current time and preview checks require the player to have loaded the video duration. If those controls are disabled, wait until the preview is available.
Rules for saving
- Use mm:ss or hh:mm:ss, for example 00:00, 12:35 or 1:02:03.
- Each marker needs a title of 1 to 100 characters.
- Do not give two markers the same second.
- The time must be earlier than the total duration: 06:00 is invalid for a six-minute video.
- You can save up to 100 moments. They are sorted by time when saved.
Save and check the result
For a published video, click Save. If it is still a draft, use Save draft; clicking Next does not publish it. Then open the video and check the chapters and their times in the player.
The recording’s moments section is unavailable during an active live stream. After the stream ends, wait for the recording to appear. If it is still being prepared or processed, the preview may not yet be ready for checking timestamps.
Do moments create clips or change the video file?
No. They are time markers with titles that organize navigation in the player. They do not trim the file or create new videos.
