Privacy Policy and Data Processing
How PleyMeikel may collect, use, protect and retain account, security, usage, technical and payment-related information.
1. Scope
This policy explains what data PleyMeikel may collect, why we use it and what controls users have. It applies to the site, dashboards, account, video playback, forms, Help Center and related services.
2. Data we may collect
- Account data: name, alias, email, photo if applicable and data connected to account access.
- Security data: optional phone number, verifications, login records, anti-fraud signals and suspicious activity.
- Usage data: pages visited, interface interactions, content played and service operation events.
- Technical data: browser, device, operating system, approximate IP, session identifiers and error diagnostics.
- Payment data: payment method references and transaction confirmations generated by the corresponding gateway.
3. Purposes of processing
We use information to operate the platform, authenticate sessions, protect accounts, detect fraud, process memberships, improve the experience, personalize features, answer support requests and enforce these policies.
4. Limited sharing
We do not sell users' personal information. Information may be shared only with providers needed to operate the service, such as authentication, infrastructure, technical analytics, security messaging or payment gateways, always under operational necessity and reasonable protection criteria.
5. Information security
We apply technical and organizational measures to protect information, including access controls, encryption in transit, database access rules, activity monitoring and abuse-prevention tools. Although zero risk does not exist, we actively work to reduce risks and respond to incidents.
6. Retention
We keep data only for as long as needed to operate the service, meet technical or legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud and enforce policies. Some security records may be kept longer when strictly necessary for auditing or service protection.
7. User controls and rights
- Access and update account data when the feature is available.
- Request support about privacy and information processing.
- Revoke consent when processing depends on an optional feature.
- Request account deletion, subject to checks and minimum required retention when applicable.
8. Account deletion and data removal
When a user deletes their account, PleyMeikel's operational goal is to delete the profile and its service data and revoke access. In exceptional cases, minimum security or transaction records may be retained only for the time strictly necessary for fraud prevention, dispute resolution or technical compliance.
9. Minors
PleyMeikel is not intended for minors without proper supervision and authorization. If we detect unauthorized use by a minor, we may restrict or close the account to protect the user.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect product improvements, legal changes or security adjustments. The most recent version will be available in this Help Center section.
