PleyMeikel Terms of Service

Review the conditions governing the use of PleyMeikel Pro, PleyMeikel Labs, accounts, memberships, content, payments, AI tools, and video services.

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of PleyMeikel, including PleyMeikel Pro, PleyMeikel Labs, their websites, tools, content, and related services.

By creating an account, subscribing to a membership, using a feature, or accessing the services, you agree to these Terms and any applicable policies. If you use PleyMeikel on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have sufficient authority to act on its behalf.

Identity and Scope of PleyMeikel

Daniel Brito, a sole trader in the Dominican Republic, is the legal owner and operator of PleyMeikel, which operates under the trade name PleyMeikel Inc. In this document, “PleyMeikel”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the service and its owner.

“Inc” is part of the trade name and does not mean that PleyMeikel is an incorporated company.

PleyMeikel Services

PleyMeikel offers streaming and sports video-related services through dedicated areas tailored for different types of users.

PleyMeikel Pro is designed for viewers who use a membership to access the available catalog according to the terms of their plan. The catalog may include live broadcasts, replays, premieres, documentaries, interviews, podcasts, programs, and other sports-related productions.

PleyMeikel Labs is designed for creators, streamers, athletes, clubs, teams, leagues, federations, institutions, production companies, programs, media outlets, and other organizations or professionals connected to sports. Labs provides tools for hosting, publishing, producing, streaming, and distributing video, along with certain artificial intelligence features when available.

Catalog Access and No Pay-Per-View

Viewer access to PleyMeikel content is granted according to the terms of the corresponding membership.

PleyMeikel does not sell individual videos, digital tickets, or individual event access through a Pay-Per-View model. A PleyMeikel membership is a relationship between the user and the service and does not represent an individual purchase made on behalf of each creator or organization that has contributed content to the catalog.

Account creation and use

The user must provide reasonably accurate information and keep it updated when necessary to use the account or services.

Each user is responsible for protecting their access credentials and for activities conducted through their account, except when an unauthorized activity is attributable to a PleyMeikel failure or when applicable law provides otherwise.

It is not permitted to use false accounts, impersonate third parties, circumvent suspensions, manipulate access systems, or use an account for fraudulent or illegal purposes.

Age and ability to accept these Terms

PleyMeikel does not generally require all users to be 18 years old to use an account or participate on the platform.

When a user is a minor or lacks sufficient legal capacity to independently accept certain conditions, service usage must occur with the authorizations, supervision, or protective measures required by applicable law.

PleyMeikel may limit certain functions when necessary to protect minors, comply with legal obligations, or reduce security risks.

Using PleyMeikel on behalf of an organization

When a person creates, manages, or uses an account on behalf of a club, team, league, federation, institution, production company, media outlet, business, or other organization, they declare that they are authorized to act on behalf of that entity in relation to the services used.

PleyMeikel may request reasonably necessary information to verify authorizations, resolve claims, prevent fraud, or fulfill a legal obligation when circumstances require it.

Memberships

PleyMeikel Pro and PleyMeikel Labs may require different memberships depending on the service used.

Information about price, billing period, features, fees, and other applicable conditions must be displayed before the user confirms a subscription. Included capabilities may vary between plans and should not be interpreted as unlimited unless expressly stated otherwise.

Membership renewal

Recurring memberships renew according to the billing cycle disclosed during subscription until canceled through the available process.

The user is responsible for reviewing the price, frequency, and other conditions presented before confirming the subscription. When applicable law requires reminders, additional consents, or other protections for renewals, these must be respected.

Canceling a membership

You can cancel renewal from your account's membership options. Check the end date and complete confirmation. Canceling a renewal does not constitute a request for refund of a prior charge.

Unless applicable law or a specific condition states otherwise, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and prevents future renewals.

Payments and purchase confirmation

Membership, top-up, and other service charges are processed through the payment methods enabled during the purchase. Before confirming, review the product, amount, currency, billing frequency, and applicable terms.

The transaction must be confirmed for corresponding benefits to apply. You can check available charge and receipt information in your account.

Prices, taxes, and fees

Applicable prices and charges are displayed during subscription or purchase. Review the final amount, currency, and taxes before confirming. Your financial institution may apply its own fees or currency conversions.

Taxes and adjustments are managed according to the transaction and applicable legislation.

Purchase conditions are those shown and confirmed during the transaction, without prejudice to the user's mandatory rights.

PleyMeikel Labs quotas and resources

PleyMeikel Labs plans may include storage quotas, distribution limits, read operations, credits, AI tools, or other resources.

Inclusion of a tool does not mean all related resources are unlimited. When additional consumption exceeds the included quota, such usage may result in charges according to current terms and rates.

Credits

PleyMeikel Labs may use credits as a unit of consumption for certain digital services and artificial intelligence features.

Credits are not deposited money, bank balance, investment, or withdrawable income. Their allocation, top-up, consumption, validity, and adjustments are governed by the Credit Policy, Top-ups, and Expiry.

Creator content ownership

The creator retains all legal rights they hold over content submitted to PleyMeikel.

Uploading or publishing content does not automatically transfer full ownership of that material to PleyMeikel. The user grants only the necessary permissions for PleyMeikel to host, process, convert, reproduce, transmit, distribute, moderate, index, and display the content according to selected settings and these Terms.

Required license to operate the service

While content remains hosted on PleyMeikel, the user grants PleyMeikel a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license limited to what is necessary to provide and operate the services.

This license may include storage, processing, conversion to different resolutions or formats, reproduction, transmission, distribution based on selected visibility, generation of thumbnails and previews, indexing, search, platform-based recommendations, moderation, security, fraud prevention, and compliance with legal obligations.

After deleting content, certain technical copies may remain temporarily in caches, backups, or other systems for a reasonable period necessary to complete deletion or fulfill legal obligations.

Required rights to publish content

The user is responsible for having the necessary rights, licenses, permissions, and authorizations for the content they publish or stream.

This includes, where applicable, rights related to broadcasting, music, photographs, videos, narration, trademarks, logos, images, voices, interviews, repetitions, third-party material, and participants' right of image.

Mentioning a rights holder or stating no intention to infringe does not substitute for a valid authorization.

Participants and minors

Users who publish content featuring other individuals must respect their image, voice, privacy, safety, and applicable rights.

When minors are involved, the user must take appropriate protective measures and obtain any necessary authorizations based on the context and applicable legislation.

Participation in a sporting activity does not automatically grant permission to commercially use a person's image in any context.

Prohibited content and improper uses

It is not permitted to use PleyMeikel to publish, stream, promote, or facilitate illegal, fraudulent, abusive, exploitative, sexually explicit content when prohibited, content that violates third-party rights, content that improperly exposes private information, content that endangers minors, or content that facilitates criminal activities.

It is also prohibited to use the platform to impersonate individuals or organizations, falsify information, fraudulently manipulate results or measurements, distribute malware, conduct phishing attacks, circumvent restrictions, or deliberately interfere with the security or operation of the services.

AI-generated or AI-modified content

When users publish content generated, altered, or modified by artificial intelligence in a way that may affect its interpretation, they must make the disclosures required by PleyMeikel's tools and policies.

It is not allowed to use artificial intelligence to falsify identities, performances, results, statistics, statements, offers, contracts, or any other information in a misleading or harmful manner.

PleyMeikel may apply labels or other transparency measures to content generated or processed using AI tools.

PleyMeikel's AI tools

PleyMeikel Labs may offer artificial intelligence tools to assist with specific production, publishing, translation, subtitles, dubbing, or other compatible tasks.

The results from these tools may contain errors, translation discrepancies, pronunciation differences, interpretive variations, or generation issues. Users must review any significant results before publicly using them.

PleyMeikel does not guarantee that an AI tool is fully accurate, continuously available, or will produce a specific outcome for all content.

Publication, processing, and availability

Transferring a file does not alone guarantee that the content will be immediately available for playback.

Videos, streams, and other content may require processing, configuration, technical checks, or other operations before becoming available.

PleyMeikel does not guarantee permanent or uninterrupted availability of all services. Maintenance, provider failures, technical incidents, legal restrictions, security measures, or other circumstances may temporarily affect functionality.

Moderation

PleyMeikel may use human review, automated tools, and other reasonable measures to detect content or activities that may violate these Terms or applicable policies.

Posting content does not constitute a legal, professional, sports, or editorial endorsement of that content.

When there is a reasonable indication of violation, PleyMeikel may investigate, temporarily limit visibility, request changes, apply restrictions, or remove the content depending on the nature and severity of the issue.

Account Suspension and Restrictions

PleyMeikel may limit certain features, temporarily suspend an account, or terminate access when there is significant or repeated violation, fraud, illegal activity, security risk, non-payment, circumvention of restrictions, harm to third parties, or any other reasonably related reason for protecting the service.

Where appropriate and legally permissible, PleyMeikel may communicate the reason for the action and allow the user to correct a remediable violation.

In serious, urgent situations, or when notification could increase risk, facilitate fraud, or contradict a legal obligation, PleyMeikel may act without prior notice.

User Termination

The user may stop using the services and cancel corresponding memberships through available mechanisms.

Terminating an account does not eliminate obligations, charges, claims, rights, or responsibilities that arose before the effective termination date.

Where applicable, content and data may be retained for the technically necessary period to complete deletions, backups, investigations, claims, legal obligations, or security processes.

Refunds

Canceling a membership and requesting a refund of a charge are separate processes.

Requests are reviewed based on purchase conditions, the service received, consumer rights, and the Refund and Cancellation Policy.

Nothing in these Terms removes refund, withdrawal, or other protections that cannot be waived under applicable law.

Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

A chargeback is a claim filed with the payment method issuer. It differs from a refund request to PleyMeikel and is handled according to the issuer’s procedures and payment network rules.

Reasonable restrictions on the affected product or service may be applied during investigation. These measures do not eliminate the buyer’s legal rights.

Monetization and Payments to Creators

Eligible creator earnings are determined according to applicable monetization and reconciliation rules.

Charges to customers and payments to creators are independent processes. Each purchase does not automatically generate a direct payment to the creator.

Creator payments require registration, validation, eligibility, and approval under current conditions, and are delivered to the configured payment destination when applicable.

Intellectual property of PleyMeikel

The platform, its software, interfaces, designs, trademarks, logos, systems, documentation, visual elements, and other materials proprietary to PleyMeikel are protected by applicable rights.

These Terms do not grant the user ownership of PleyMeikel's technology, visual identity, or proprietary materials.

Copying, exploiting, decompiling, modifying, distributing, or using these elements outside the permissions granted by the service or applicable legislation is not permitted.

Services and external providers

PleyMeikel may use external providers for functions such as hosting, processing, distribution, streaming, artificial intelligence, translation, dubbing, billing, payments, email, security, and other services necessary to operate the platform.

The availability of an integration may depend on the respective provider and does not constitute a guarantee of uninterrupted operation.

Certain relationships with third parties may also be subject to their own terms and policies.

Privacy and personal data

Personal data processing is governed by the PleyMeikel Privacy Policy and applicable legislation.

That policy explains what data is used, for what purposes, with whom it may be shared, how it is protected, retention criteria, and available rights.

Security

PleyMeikel takes measures aimed at protecting the platform and its users, but no system connected to the Internet can guarantee absolute security.

Users must protect their credentials, use available security controls, and report suspicious activities through official channels.

Attempting to gain unauthorized access to systems, accounts, credentials, private content, or restricted information is not permitted.

No guarantees regarding audience or income

PleyMeikel does not guarantee that publishing content will result in a specific number of views, audience, followers, contracts, professional opportunities, visibility, discovery, or income.

Hosting, streaming, distribution, artificial intelligence, and monetization tools facilitate certain processes, but results depend on multiple factors that PleyMeikel does not fully control.

Reasonable limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable legislation, PleyMeikel shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, third-party failures, internet outages, decisions made solely based on artificial intelligence results, or other situations where the law allows limiting liability.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits a responsibility that legally cannot be excluded, including consumer rights and other irrevocable protections that apply.

Changes to the services

PleyMeikel may modify, improve, replace or remove features when necessary for technical, commercial, legal, security, supplier or product evolution reasons.

When a change materially affects a user's membership, obligation or right, PleyMeikel shall provide the information or notification required by applicable law and terms.

Changes to these Terms

PleyMeikel may update these Terms to reflect changes in its services, business models, suppliers, legal requirements, policies, security risks or other operational needs.

When a modification is material, PleyMeikel may communicate it through the platform, email or another reasonable means. When legislation requires additional consent for a modification, the corresponding procedure will be used.

User's mandatory rights

These Terms do not intend to exclude, restrict or replace rights that applicable legislation recognizes as mandatory for the user.

If a provision of these Terms conflicts with a legal protection that cannot be waived, such protection shall prevail to the extent required by law.

Severability

If a provision of these Terms is considered invalid, illegal or unenforceable in a particular jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue to be effective to the extent permitted.

The affected provision shall be interpreted or limited, where legally possible, in a way that best preserves its purpose without infringing on mandatory rights.
